Corinne Katow

As a young child, Corinne was first introduced to gag cartoons
by her artist/cartoonist father.
She earned her Bachelor’s Degree from USC in Dental
Hygiene but continued to appreciate and envy the humor of cartoons. For years she had a persistent itch to someday try her hand in cartooning. Decades later, with time off from dental hygiene during COVID she started to sketch some funny ideas and submitted them to various publications. To her jaw dropping surprise, she sold her very first gag cartoon to Woman’s World magazine in her 1st submission batch. Since then, her cartoons have appeared in various books and publications including
several in the Wall Street Journal. She has since retired from Dental Hygiene. This gratifying transition for Corinne has gone from making clean sparkling smiles to bringing happy chuckling smiles.
