  1. Steve Denehan

An instantly relatable book full of heart and feeling that is poignant and funny often at the same time.

  2. Jeremy P. Madsen

If you’re having a bad parenting day . . . read this book.

You’ll read about disasters on a scale that put yours to shame. Broken rented convertible windows. Having to carry screaming 8-year-olds from the grocery store. Stranded in a foreign country with no phone, no place to stay, and your baby.

You’ll get some good laughs, and go back to your own (minor by comparison) problems with a hefty dose of perspective!

I really enjoyed the humor that each of the stories had. While this book was entertaining it also had valuable lessons that draw from ridiculous but such relatable life experiences. This book shows how no one’s alone in the parenting world and no one can ever fully be prepared to be a parent and that no child or parent should ever judge the other too harshly. But that we’re all trying our best. This is a special book for parents and their children to read.

I got some good laughs from reading this book, but still picked up on some valuable lessons.
